The EGT sensor is essential for proper emissions system function as it provides critical data to the ECM. If this sensor fails, it can cause diagnostic trouble codes, a malfunctioning emissions system, a check engine light, and even reduced power.
The XD1036 is manufactured to meet the OEM specifications and it installs directly in the factory location with no modifications required.
